Pet Blessing
In remembrance of St Francis of Assisi’s love for all creatures, a pet blessing ceremony will be held at St Micheal’s. Show your love and appreciation for your pets by bringing them along for a blessing and sprinkling of holy water.
Where: St Michael’s lawn (behind the presbytery)
When: Sunday 20th October at 3.00pm
Please note: Your pet must be controlled either on a lead, contained in a cage, box or similar appropriate container

The Catechism of the Catholic Church
Special Mass
A Mass will be offered for those who have experienced loss of a child. Spiritual healing is necessary after the loss of a child. The Catholic Sacraments of Reconciliation & Eucharist help to facilitate healing through fully knowing God’s love and mercy. Reconciliation & Adoration from 4.30pm.
Along with the healing process, counselling is often necessary. You may want to address grief at some stage. Fr Tony Dunn can refer you to an experienced counsellor if you wish. For more information contact: Brenda Brightwell 027 641 5615

The Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday 11 August in the St Mary MacKillop Hall. The special guest speaker will be Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Reports will be presented by the parish Pastoral and Finance Councils. There will be an Open Forum where parishioners can raise their comments and questions.

Potluck Lunch
Potluck Lunch Celebrating Our Multicultural Parish
The Community Committee is again organising a Potluck Lunch to be held in the Mary MacKillop Hall. It will be a lovely opportunity to join with other Parishioners to celebrate unity, enjoy a variety of different culture’s food, songs, and traditional dance. You can volunteer to help make this a fun day for all by filling in a sign-up sheet from the foyer table and putting it in the foyer Drop Box or scanning and emailing it to the parish office. Your help is much appreciated.

Water & Salt Blessing
Blessed Water & Salt can be used to bless objects, families and individuals, and to provide spiritual protection and healing.
A special blessing of Water & Salt will take place at St Michael’s during our usual Saturday Mass. Bring along a container of water and/or bag of salt on Saturday 3 February 8am Mass
